How to Die Well is a collection of print materials that make up the bulk of a campaign I created to demystify and destigmatize talking about, thinking about, and planning for death.
I strongly believe that normalizing painful human experiences is essential to healthy relationships and general wellbeing. Death and dying are universal experiences for all living things, and I am interested in reframing the process to better help myself and others live with what’s to come.
I was primarily guided by this question: What would it feel like to approach the final stage of life with levity and celebration? In tandem with Everybody Dies, an event and web campaign I created to spread the word, How to Die Well literature provides people with a friendly field guide to the inevitable.
